I was disappointed by the poor finishing in the room. There was a hole in the wall that had been poorly painted, and the floor in the bathroom was cheap and poorly fitted.

The location of Carlton Lodge was perfect for my work trip, being close to the place I needed to be for the day. The room itself was spacious and clean, away from the noise of the pub. I also appreciated the ample parking available.
